Name: Seal of the dark
Location: Placed on the left hand of the user
Seal appearance: This mark resembles two squared diamonds, one overlapping the other. The upper square having a dark red shade and the lower square being black and slightly smaller but overlapping the first. The diamonds have a white outline with a mauve border around them.
Effect: Facilitates use of the darkness release, chakra is absorbed through the top square and released through the lower one. This is not so much a seal as it is a mark that appears on the hand of a user of the darkness release from birth.
Name: Dark release, Inhaling maw
Description: The most basic jutsu of the darkness release, the user holds out their left hand and forcibly absorbs chakra which is funneled in to the upper square on their hand’s mark. This does not require direct physical contact but does absorb less chakra more slowly from farther away. This technique is the staple from which all others come. The chakra can be taken from ninjutsu attacks or directly from opponents allowing the user to block attacks by absorbing the chakra inside them. This has an advantage over the normal chakra absorption techniques as it does not require a medium and can absorb the chakra inside a full jutsu (though it cannot absorb jutsu higher rank than the user could perform and ultimately fails to absorb s rank jutsu completely)

Name: Dark release, a predator’s silence
Description: Using the chakra absorption proprieties of their seal the user cycles their own chakra from their bodies to the seal to effectively cloak themselves from sensor nin to totally hide their chakra, something most ninja cannot accomplish, though they cannot use other darkness release techniques while doing so

Name: Dark release, Taste of the prey
Description: after absorbing chakra with the inhaling maw the user is able to analyze the chakra they have absorbed, they are able to discern the element, allowing them to deconstruct and learn about the opponents abilities. This jutsu seems supplementary but is the staple of later techniques.

Name: Dark release, Judgment
Description: The basic dark release jutsu that actually involves the release of chakra, after absorbing chakra with the inhaling maw the user expels it from the lower square on their left hand as a blue flame like chakra. This chakra knows no element of its own but is highly destructive as a raw energy. The amount and intensity of the will-o-whisp like flames that come from the hand are dependant on how much chakra was absorbed, a d rank jutsu might only make a fireball like projectile but an a rank would make a truly massive amount of flame to destroy multiple targets

Name: Dark release; Ravenous hunger
Description: A jutsu that causes concentrated bodies of chakra to automatically be directed toward the users left hand, this extends the range and power of the inhaling maw jutsu to absorb larger scale techniques farther away from the user, able to absorb jutsu higher ranking than the user can perform up to s rank

Description: a jutsu where the user becomes able to discern the element of an opponents chakra with out absorbing it, simply by being within range of them, once absorbed this jutsu allows the user to direct the flow of the absorbed chakra as if it were their own

Name: Dark release, grand deflection
Description: The user is able to absorb full jutsu using the ravenous hunger jutsu and is now able to project them out of the seal one post later, enabling them to turn jutsu back on their users, though the user has to meld their chakra in a similar way to perform the technique

Name: Dark release, All consuming maw
Description: A jutsu where the user touches the dark seal to the oponent and holds it there while performing inhaling maw and ravenous hunger, the jutsu causes them to rapidly absorb the opponents chakra, this is not used to absorb attacks but rather drain the opponents chakra directly, this technique is designed to assassinate opponents but has a fatal flaw, the user must concentrate all of their energy on absorbing the opponent’s chakra and are unable to act or even pay attention to their surroundings when they do it, and as this takes a long time just to render the opponent unconscious (five posts) and longer to kill them (ten) this technique is difficult to accomplish

Name: Dark release, sight of the prey
Description: The user is now able to identify the opponents chakra nature just by looking at them, able to feel the power level of the chakra and discern kekkei genkai after absorbing it, they also gain the ability to use the absorbed chakra completely as if it were their own after it has been absorbed

Name: Dark release, prefect theft
Description: After absorbing the chakra the user is able to perform that same jutsu at any time after absorbing it provided they have access to the same element of chakra in a large enough amount, this also enables them to apply the chakra stealing nature of their jutsu to chakra flow, enabling them to create chakra absorbing weapons

Name: Dark release consuming return
Description: A variant on the grand deflection where the user fills the copied jutsu with dark release chakra, the result is adding the element of chakra absorption to them, the result is not perfect absorption however but rather a jutsu that absorbs chakra of the same element to grow, for example if the user were to absorb a fireball jutsu the result would be a fireball that absorbs other katon jutsu to grow but would not absorb jutsu of other elements

Name: Dark release, Chakra hungry beast jutsu
Description: The user becomes a being which can derive sustenance from chakra, able to absorb it through the mouth or either hand and use it in any of the dark release jutsu or simply consume it to increase their own reserves and vitalize their bodies. This stage of absorption has the largest radius and greatest absorption power, also the problem of limited capacity has been removed as the user is able to “eat” the chakra as well. the user also gains the ability to sense chakra as a shark senses blood, from a great distance and with deadly precision once its identified. A side effect of this technique is ones mouth becoming filled with sharp teeth and darker eyes. (note: the user can now absorb s rank jutsu but the limit is one per thread, also they cannot absorb jutsu that absorb or disrupt chakra, such as Fuuton rasengan shuriken)

Name: Dark release, judgment of the demon court
Description: A jutsu very similar to the dark release judgment technique, however this time the blue flame is blown from the mouth and is a distinct purple color, the chakra “flame” fills a very wide area and lingers there damaging all in it’s path, however the user has combined the absorbed chakra with their own adding the element of chakra absorption to the attack, the goal of which to cover a large area in billowy chakra absorbing will-o-whisp like flame. The chakra flame will not go out unless it has no chakra to absorb, with out chakra it will shrink and die away within seven posts but with chakra it will only grow in size and intensity, jutsu basied atempts to blow away, cover or put out this damaging flame shaped mass of chakra only add to its power and size, making this technique imposible to combat with ninjutsu
